Pull the strings. Pull the strings!!!!
Pull the strings. Pull the strings!!!!
Was sad to hear about Martin Landau. I met him and William Shatner at a benefit here in LA in the early 2000's. They were introduced to me as "Bill and Marty". He was incredibly warm and kind and very cool.
On a side note, his daughter Juliette played Drusilla on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I just saw the Chester thing, FUCK man!
What the hell is going on lately?!
This news about Chester has really hit me.
Jesus. I was thinking only a few weeks ago that I wouldn't mind seeing Linkin Park live for teenage nostalgia. Very sad news.
I think Chris's death plus all that OML backlash really got to him...this is horrible. God i hate depression
I don't even like Linkin Park but hearing that made me cry, I think when you enjoy all the pop beefs and backlashes and critical ups and downs for entertainment value, you don't realise how that stuff is actually hitting someone and that they're people too. It reminds me of something Trent said about it taking courage to put something creatively out in the world only for it to get shit on.
I was never a fan of Linkin Park, but that really blows. I feel for his kids.
Omfg
Not a fan of the group but I'm really sad about his death. I'm sad about his family and friends; I'm sad he could not see another way out of his pain.
RIP Chester.
When I first heard about it, I thought it was BS. Can't believe shit on facebook. Not the biggest fan. But, this sucks. Six kids.
The most tragic thing about this and Cornell for me is that it happened during a virbant career where there are lots and lots of people surrounding them. Not to mention they had family and were loving fathers. Linkin Park or whatever I thought about Bennington aside this really sucks and is very tragic for his family, band members and friends. That it happened on Cornell's birthday and the fact that they seemed to be close makes it very akward.
Is it the harsh media, is it the low that many people experience when they are off stage? I cannot even imagine.
Prayers go out to his loved ones and all the young people that found something in his music no matter if they thought it became to mediocre or were fans from the very beginning etc.
RIP John Heard. Great character actor, loved him in Awakenings, but come on....he'll always be the dad from Home Alone.
Was also accused of stalking and harassing his ex-wife, which might have contributed to her getting dropped from a major TV show at the time. I also heard something about him abusing her in front of their kids too.

If anyone of you had never seen a film that she did. You're missing out on one of the greatest actresses that ever lived.
June Foray passed away last week. Great voice actress.
Haruo Nakajima dies at 88
Ever got to meet him, Jon?
I never had the pleasure of meeting him. I'm certainly a nerd, but I've never even been to G-Fest.
I've never been good at eulogizing, and these days it too-often turns into a contrived essay rather than a simple summation.
Nakajima embodied what tokusatsu is and should always strive to be.
I was lucky enough to meet Nakajima at a convention last month. He was a very gracious man despite the language barrier, and he made my nephew's day. Very sad to hear that he passed away, but incredibly grateful that I got to meet him.
A true legend in music. He will be missed. I'll just play this nice little number...
