---- — Nancy Lou Clark Reznor of Mercer passed away unexpectedly at 2:44 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, in UPMC Horizon, Greenville.

Mrs. Reznor was born May 20, 1946, in Mercer, the only daughter of William “Bill” Paul Clark and Clara Belle “Sally” Fetterolf Clark, both of whom are deceased.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend who will be dearly missed by all. Nancy was a compassionate, kind-hearted person who enjoyed shopping, outings and, most of all, spending time with her family.

Nancy had a great deal of love for all animals, especially her dog, Lilly.

She is survived by: her companion, Jim Weaver; Mike Reznor and his wife Via; her children, Tera Lynn Reznor; and Michael Trent Reznor and his wife Mariqueen; and grandchildren, Damian and Briona Burns; and Lazarus Echo Reznor; and a devoted cousin, Bonnie Kern and her husband Lee.

I remember in an interview (I think more recently than Dragon Tattoo), Trent actually brought it up unprompted, and the interviewer completely ignored it. Was kind of a weird interview.

Trent has disagreed with being classified as any form of metal, and has said something along the lines of other people classify him as industrial, but he doesn't. Has Trent ever said what genre NIN is? I mean, to me, it can differ from album to album, and even sometimes between songs on the same album (The Fragile, cough cough). Whenever anyone asks, I just say "idk what genre this is, I just like the way it sounds."

I also posted this in the Kanye West thread. I don't recall it seeing it here before, and just thought of posting it now. I sometimes type "Nine Inch Nails Kanye West" into Google as I remember Kanye West mentioning Nine Inch Nails, and Nine Inch Nails mentioning Kanye West before, and it came out as the first search result as soon as I entered it on Google. Kanye West makes an attempt to freestyle over Closer, and also says that he likes Nine Inch Nails. I'm sure I'd read about that before, but it's the first time I've actually heard him say it. You have to go to the 31 minute mark of the video to hear it.
