Well that was the most sexist, hate filled pool of bile I've read in a while. I have no idea if the guy is an abuser or is being targeted by a malicious ex, but I fail to see how this kind of trolling passes as journalism.

Did you read the Jezebel article? Every sentence was "male creeps" "male narcissists" "he's not the first man to do so" What part of it wasn't misandry? Again, I have no idea if the guy in question is guilty or not. But this type of characterization of all men as self-pitying creeps clearly has nothing to do with the merits of the individual case. It's purely hatred based on one's gender. Flip the wording around and pretend a man wrote this about women. Can you honestly say that you wouldn't be outraged?

The more I read the critiques of Jian's actual words, the more I don't buy his story here. @themethatyouknow , imagine a good friend of yours writing exactly what he wrote. It just doesn't seem to jibe. Jury is still out for me, but CBC cutting him loose doesn't help to show his innocence.

I've always been in the 'if the woman gets to be anonymous then the man should too' camp but cases like this and various similar cases in the UK recently, do suggest that these people will never stop what they're doing unless women hear of someone else coming forward and then add their story if they have had the same experiences.

I don't know who Artie Lange is, but he was probably really fucked up when he posted those Twitter comments, and he's probably going to wake up in about 4 hours with a severe hangover and delete them.
