On a lighter note, Blue Ivy Carter has her own Tumblr page:

Probably in attempt to be cuter than Mariah Carey's and Nick Cannon's twins (which is not possible!)

I'm voting more like Elvis ... heart attack.
Edit: Well, now I dunno, the police report that she was found underwater and dead.

Nicki Minaj looked like a hot mess at the Grammys, she seemed to be channeling Lady Gaga who was watching in the audience and prob thinking 'bitch please'

Bet Kevin Smith is pretty busted up.
^^Well, if he is, I sure hope it doesn't affect his impeccable quality.
MC5 bassist, Michael Davis, dead at 68 due to liver failure.
Thank you for inspiring a generation.
That is so horrible.
RIP Davy Jones
The Monkees always were kinda lame but still, RIP.
Anyone who has movie/video footage in common with NIN, shares a first and last name with David Bowie, and got covered by The Sex Pistols is cool enough for me.
In fact, I loved the re-runs of his TV so much as a kid that my mom took me to see The Monkees reunion at Six Flags when I was in the 4th grade, my first concert ever!
Obviously a looooooongtime habit of mine this guy officially kicked off. Bummer, I was still hoping to bootleg him with The Monkees someday and pay tribute again.
:-\
Head made their lame-ness worthwhile
I dig the Monkees man! They had some good tunes. Plus, we should thank Davy Jones for making some other guy named David Jones change his last name to Bowie. If it wasn't for Davy Jones, we wouldn't have the Axl dance!
All the girls around my age were really bummed out at the news. Back during our childhoods, Davy and Mickey were 100x bigger heartthrobs than Justin Bieber is today. Jones was even on the Brady Bunch, once (remember the one where Davy kissed Marcia's cheek and she said she'd never wash her face again?).
News radio reports yesterday were playing Monkees songs and saying Davy was lead singer and sang on such hits as ... and then they named songs -- including whatever song they played in the background -- and all the songs they played, and named, had MICKEY as the lead singer. Duh.

Ugh. That's the worst. Even if they didn't want to go with Daydream Believer, there are so many awesome songs he sung to choose from: I Wanna Be Free, Look Out Here Comes Tomorrow, A Little Bit You A Little Bit Me, Forget That Girl, She Hangs Out, Cuddly Toy, Star Collector, Valleri, Someday Man...
G was channel-surfing just a few nights ago and I looked up from reading a book and said, "wtf, the MONKEES are on?" and we watched the episode that had Rip Taylor in it and I said to G, "You know, back when we were kids, we thought this show was hilariously funny, but now it's just kinda stupid" but then they did the part of the show where the did a song and they did Cuddly Toy. The lyrics are bizarre. Davy Jones was really short. And he always danced like in this video.

The Monkees were so awesome, dig up a copy of HEADQUARTERS or PISCES, AQUARIUS, CAPRICORN & JONES, LTD and listen to them before you throw out those old boomer-era tropes about their "legitimacy" or "coolness".

What a fucking idiot.
lol , this coming from a guy who starred in a show with a character named Boner.
Piers Morgan is equally a waste of space.
