    ProviderModule.com - Marilyn Manson Fansite & Forum

I've also been frequenting this Marilyn Manson forum, and it's by far the best Marilyn Manson forum I've ever been to.

Provider Module is to Marilyn Manson the same way that The NIN Hotline and Echoing The Sound are to Nine Inch Nails. I really went a little Hazekiah there, didn't I?

I've also noticed several other posters that go to both forums from the looks of it, and I also had my username changed to Kris over there, so I can be easy for you to recognize me there, should you chose to join it.

Provider Module has also been promoted on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. I've always thought that both Echoing the Sound and Provider Module should be like next door neighbors on the Internet, and with all the talk in the Marilyn Manson thread, perhaps you just might also enjoy Provider Module.

http://www.providermodule.com/ - The home page. You can also access it here: http://www.marilynmanson.pm/

And well, if you're interested to actually post, come on in. This is thread to do just that. Internet forums really one of those instances where "The more the merrier." actually applies, and rings to be absolutely true. (With some exceptions within reason, of course.)

@henryeatscereal - Are you also going to post as henryeatscereal if you post there? And if so, I thought I'd even go as far to show you the way to the Seinfeld, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Angry Video Game Nerd thread, and but of course, the Nine Inch Nails thread as well. I also noticed that Provider Module was promoted on Myspace as well, and I could understand that in a way, since it began in Christmas morning at 6:00 AM on December 25, 2009. Myspace was still sort of used, even though Facebook was taking over during 2008-2010.

I also hope to see you there, and anybody else from here, if/whenever possible. (As it could certainly use more interaction.)

Embarrassing fact: on a CD somewhere, I think I still have all the pics I exchanged over the years from the AOL Marilyn Manson chatroom days.

Wasn't she also a huge fan of Marilyn Manson too? If so, that would obviously be the perfect site to also encourage her to join. And well, I hope you and/or her have a great time there as well.

    -Edit-

@Jinsai - I didn't feel like bumping this, but I thought you would like to see this in case you've missed it. And yeah, bumping this thread would be pretty awkward right now, that is unless somebody else responds to it at this point.

@Leviathant - I think I've found you, and I've sent you an add request there. I understand if I don't see you there though, as I'm sure maintaining one forum takes up more than enough time. Oh, and Provider Module's administrator and owner is also on ETS. It's just that he's @Damian at ETS. On Provider Module, he's Cringeon.

@Kid Charlemagne - Even though you're not into Marilyn Manson, you'll also be bound to find ETS members other than myself on PM. And in some cases, it really is similar to ETS. The only downside I could really think of and say is that it's just not as active as ETS. I'm still curious if you disliked all of his works BTW.

@october_midnight - I'd still think you'd be a riot there. As a matter of fact, there are other Marilyn Manson fans over there that also share your opinion. Not all of them worship/like every single thing he put out. But of course, if you still dislike the forum, I'll understand. I just thought I'd like to say that one last time, as your posts have been some of the more entertaining and humorous posts in the Marilyn Manson thread.

@marodi - I don't know what your actual take on Marilyn Manson was, or perhaps I forgot, but with what I've noticed with the overall vibe of this forum, I think you'd actually fit in and like it there.

-Anyway, that's all for now, and probably the least I can do, as bumping it would be kind of awkward at this rate. Sorry for not bringing it up sooner, but I finally remembered to bring it up, and thought of getting it all out of my system before I forgot to do this entirely again.-

Umm, it's a loaded question. I like some songs by Manson. In all, I could probably put together a playlist of about 12 or 13 Manson songs that I enjoy, but I find myself getting bored by listening to his albums, this has gotten worse as I've gotten older. Honestly, if you gave me a playlist with just singles on there, that would be sufficient for me. I also feel the same way about Tool.

@Kid Charlemagne - Oh crap, I didn't mean to make it that way, but I see what you mean. I've also considered that perhaps you could've also liked Marilyn Manson at some point, and just moved on after a certain a period of time, just like the same way you did with Tool, Korn, Limp Bizkit, and Linkin Park.

As for other users you'd find there that still seem to post and go there, you'll definitely see Space Suicide and jezstyle. And as expected, Hazekiah was there, and used be among the posters that regularly frequented Provider Module, and seemed to even post the most, while promoting it the best he could with their actual flyers, but he's been surprisingly absent for a few months as of now. I haven't seen him that much on ETS either. Harry Seaward is also there, but he's under MixMastahTee.

I never was a huge Manson fan. The way I liked the other bands you mentioned, is more of a "let me put on my rock station and if a certain song comes on, I won't change it." I would've been in to Manson more if I was 10 years older by the time he hit his stride in the mid to late 90's.

@Kid Charlemagne - Well, if you're ever interested, here's their Radiohead and Kanye West threads. And as I said to october_midnight, not all of them worship/like everything Marilyn Manson puts out.

It really is like this place when it comes to fandom though, but it is to be expected when it comes to fan-bases and the Internet forums.

    http://www.providermodule.com/forum/...-Skinhead-quot

Oh yes, and I shouldn't forget to include the introduction thread if you're also interested in actually posting. I guess if it's one of the things I share with Hazekiah, it's that I also receive a lot of pleasure from promoting my favorite Internet forums, and bands.

(Just like how I'm also trying to find ways to promote The NIN Hotline and Echoing The Sound, should I meet any Nine Inch Nails fans in real life. I also do just the same thing for Provider Module, should I meet other Marilyn Manson fans.)

And well, aside from all that, thank you for your response, as it's certainly very much appreciated.

http://www.providermodule.com/forum/...-Introductions - I'll also make sure to post this in the first post of this thread.

@sheepdean - If you ever do go, I certainly hope that you enjoy it there as well.

Manson's not my cup of tea so much anymore (though, if anyone on the site has any merch with 12 Rounds on from that tour .. gimme a message). I'll spread it round though, looks cool

Just registered. I'm more of an old school Manson fan but I'm open to the new material too. Will have a deeper look at the site a bit later.

I just came across this recently. Provider Module also has its own article on Manson Wiki.

@elevenism - In case you've missed it, here's the Provider Module thread.

    -Edit-

I thought of posting this again, but without bumping the thread. And considering ETS's history with Marilyn Manson threads, these threads really are a must see for ETS members.

I'm not sure SD ever forgave me for making him late for that last Manson show in London... btw if you can coax that guy into a manson pun-down, then do, he is borderline genius

I'd be curious to know when you were there. I used the AOL Keyword: Marilyn Manson forum quite a bit from about '95 to '97 or so. It used to be pretty much the closest thing to an official online resource for Manson stuff and even scored an interview with him a couple times.

I found some old printouts a few years ago of interesting things that popped-up there so I'd love a little trip down memory lane if you have anything particularly special from that place to share!

    :)

Yeah, sorry...I was still living on the road after chasing Manson's entire 2013 tour and hadn't made it home yet. At the time I didn't own a laptop or a smartphone so I'm hoping I'll be able to keep online and in touch a bit better during these upcoming dates!

Plus, during this time last year (when you posted the above quote) I was pretty much in absolute hell so I kinda had more important things on my mind and wouldn't exactly have been the best company, I'm afraid. I fucking LOVE the internet and a couple sites like these especially so I just have to hope that most people understand that when I'm away from the internet for extended periods of time it's not without good reason.

Mostly, though, I'm just poor and generally lack the necessary resources, lol.

Thanks for mentioning the PM flyers, btw! They were actually designed by the staff of PM but it was my idea and I've met a LOT of cool people by simply handing them out at shows. I made about 15,000 of 'em in late-2012 and I still have a bunch to finish passing out so I'm looking forward to finishing 'em off on this next tour.

    All in good time!

    :)
