The setlist floating around earlier today wasn't accurate. We got I'm Afraid of Americans and Burn! But no A Warm Place. There may have been other differences, but those two were the real stand outs. We also got All The Love in the World.

It was nice to hear Burn with TR's vocal effects; I'd heard one too many streams during the festival tour which didn't have them. I also really enjoyed ATLITW; it's my favorite track from WT and it really sounds excellent live.

The production was missing the three vertical screens. I'm not sure if the stage didn't have enough vertical clearance for them. The lighting rig is awesome; those 9 panel overhead lights can go in pretty much any direction, and then each individual panel can do a 360, as well as individual addressing for each light in the panel. The individual light panels are also rearranged vertically and horizontally throughout the show. I'm somewhat amazed with all of the effects that they can create with those things. They create a willow in the wisp effect for While I'm Still Here, while also creating the three panel lighting for Copy of A, and the overwhelming light at the end of Hurt. The lighting was also interesting for Burn; the rigs for the lights on the sides of the stage were at a ~45 degree angle from vertical, and the lights on either side faced each other. It created a ladder of white columns, which contrasted with the red overhead lights.

They managed a similar visual effect for Find My Way with the lights behind the stage. I did miss the vertical panels for VMOE and Even Deeper; while the lighting had the same overall tonality, the screens improved the setting.

Edit: Here's the setlist, taken from nintourhistory:
    1. Copy of A
    2. 1,000,000
    3. Terrible Lie
    4. March of the Pigs
    5. Piggy
    6. All Time Low
    7. Disappointed
    8. Came Back Haunted
    9. Find My Way
    10. Various Methods of Escape
    11. The Frail
    12. The Wretched
    13. Sanctified
    14. The Big Come Down
    15. Survivalism
    16. Wish
    17. I'm Afraid of Americans
    18. Burn
    19. The Hand That Feeds
    20. Head Like A Whole
    Encore:
    21. All The Love In The World
    22. Even Deeper
    23. While I'm Still Here
    24. Hurt

I can confirm the setlist posted earlier is incorrect. We did not get satellite, running, a warm place, somewhat damaged, or in two. We did howevee get the frail / the wretched, I'm afraid of americans, burn and... I think I'm missing something else.

I'm more happy with the set we got over what was leaked. The highlight was hands down all the love in the world. That song made the whole night!

Here's hoping we get a completely different setlist tomorrow. I really enjoyed this set, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary or special like rob said we were gonna get. I was expecting a whole different set from start to finish, but it was tension lite, without the production.

Sorry for typos, typing on a little tablet' not used to this. Gonna wrap it up now cuz this isn't easy to type on.

I don't really have anything pertinent to say, aside from the fact that it was a fun show (albeit a fairly standard setlist at this point), and that I'm sorry to the super-tiny girls who inched their way behind me only to find that there was nowhere else to go in the front. Don't worry; my back, right now, doesn't think that being tall is all that fun anymore.

Well, I thought it was a really amazing show. The band that Trent has put together is really something else. I really enjoyed what everyone brought to the performance, and I can't wait to see it with the full production.

The screens got taken out probably due to weight moreso than if they could clear the stage height.

Black Noise is missing. The only heavy track where everyone just stops and lets their jaw drop to the floor

Man, that was a killer show! I was near the rail for a chunk of the show, but moved back near the soundboard after a while. I was squished against a sweaty shirtless dude for a long time, which was starting to get quite gross after a while, and I swear some dude shit his pants at some point, or had some nasty gas! smelled so bad!

I managed to capture Sanctified and While I'm Still Here in video, which I'll be able to post when I get back home to Calgary! Internet speeds at the hotel are pretty slow, so it'd take way too long to upload.

Can't wait for the show tonight! it's been way too long since I've seen NIN live, and I've missed the adrenaline rush of watching them!

Speaking of taking video, they wouldn't let me bring my little handheld video camera in.
This was the first show I've never been able to just walk it in. Most shows don't look twice at it. So I'm kinda bummed I couldn't get it in.
The guy told me I could leave it at the front desk, but luckily I had a room at the hotel, so I just dropped it off back there.

I still had a point and shoot camera with me, but those have garbage sound, all booming and crackily, I managed to film ATLITW with it, haven't checked the audio yet, I,ll do that when I have access to my PC in Vancouver.

Also, maybe it's just cuz I had the assumption this was supposed to be some insanely special show, but did anyone else, even for a remote second that Richard Patrick was going to come out as a guest for a song? I thought since Filter literally played here the night before was a hint RP was goint to be a guest. Oh well.

I was thinking the same thing! I was thinking that Richard would have made a quick appearance on one of the songs as well. Maybe it didn't work wit his flight scheduling.

I also think the addition of the female backup vocals is amazing, the screaming during The Wretched was just awesome.

Show was awesome but nearly everyone in my section of the balcony were awful. For the most part they sat thru the whole show. Except when they got up to use the bathroom or get a drink. The couple in front of me got there around 9:40, spent an hour talking to each other then left after Wish.

I went to the friday night show, I don't know if NIN announced that the were not going to have the vertical lighting panels for these shows, but since this was the only show that I was seeing on this tour I wanted to see the full production. Aside from that the show was awesome and even with the vertical lighting panels missing the lighting effects were still a spectacle. I was in one of the suites on the first balcony just simply because I didn't feel like standing or being pushed around by the GA crowd. "Alvetica" wrote how two people near them talked to each other showed up late and left early and I had a similar experience in my suite two guys who didn't appear to be NIN fans and looked more like they were given free tickets by the casino seemed to be interested in everything else but what was going on, on the stage. They also talked the whole time, they were annoying. I guess you run into that when casinos give their best players tickets to shows they don't care for.
Okay so two annoying guys and no vertical lighting screens it was still a great show, Trent Reznor had a ton of energy and it funny during March Of The Pigs during the quiet part and the audience sang "and everything is alright" before Trent could he just paused and looked at the audience. The band Ilan is a monster drummer so much power in his playing, Pino does a great job, its great to Alessandro back, and Robin well Robin is Robin and I mean that in the most complimentary way. The back up singers seem to work for the new material but I'm not sure if they are really needed for the older stuff. Lisa Fischer, has been singing back up for the Rolling Stones for years I think since 1989.
The setlist was great we had I'm Afraid Of Americans, Burn, and All The Love In The World, I personally really wanted to see Into The Void and Somewhat Damaged. I really dug seeing Burn and The Big Come Down. My personal highlights of the show were Various Methods Of Escape, Came Back Haunted, The Big Come Down, Survivalism, and Burn. I have to say Copy Of A comes across so much heavier live. It was a great show as somebody mentioned I would love to see Sunspots and more off of The Fragile.

Did anyone else notice Josh just walking around by the bar in the back of the venue during EitS? Or am I crazy and I shook some random dude's hand awkwardly?

I really enjoyed this one. This was probably the best Even Deeper i've ever heard in my life, I completely lost it. Not to mention I'm Afraid of Americans and Burn back to back... I did NOT see that one coming. Seeing All the Love was incredible, it makes me hopeful Sunspots might pop up sooner than later.

I'm really happy I decided to go GA this time around. Ended up talking to some people about the Wiltern show in the pit then moved more right as the show started. Even though we were in the back of the pit, you could tell everyone was having a great time. Also, thanks to the lady behind me (I don't remember much but she had glasses) for helping me not fall over and being just as excited as I was that night. I've always thought I was getting bored of shows over the years since the break, just turns out NIN has raised the bar too high.

Those rails towards the back of the floor, were GA people able to get to them or was that still nin.com pre-sale? I think for a future show, I'd try to get there. Front rail is a little too hectic.

I can't say for sure but it looked like it was all open. It was pretty packed by the time I finally got in after EITS but had no problem walking across those areas before and after the show.

Everyone. I know I had a GA ticket one night and the pre sale the other night. No one complained.

Cool, I thought that song had a nice punch to it for the third song in the set. The lighting gave it an enhanced edge as well. I recorded three songs with my iPhone but I was in the first balcony and really could zoom in very well. The videos are good for watching the lights.
