Just watched TakeOver as I was in Chicago for Harmontown yesterday.

Everything was great except for keeping the tag titles on Big Dumb Guy 1 and Big Dumb Guy 2. The crowd reacted perfectly to it. It's a shame that the Universe WWE "loves" so much is so ignored and insulted regularly.

I am periodically reading Wrestlemania results in case there's something worth seeing but so far I'm pleased with my decision not to watch. I'll catch KO/Jericho tomorrow after work (and anything else that seems worth watching).

    So far....

    Neville beats Aries.
Mojo Rawley wins the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale?
    Dean Ambrose beats Baron Corbin?

AJ Styles beats Shane in a very surprisingly good match.

Yeah I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of Shane/AJ.

No. Matt still has the streak in his hair though. Probably won't until their lawsuit is over.

Oh shit, Jeff Hardy finally gets his elusive WrestleMania victory!!! I guess they're continuing their never-ending expedition for gold.

And they never technically dropped the TNA titles, so that means TNA + ROH + WWE champions within 24 hours = Hardy Boys greatest tag team of all time, tbh

They walked out of the #2 company as tag team champions, and then walked into the #3 and #1 company and won tag team gold in their first match with both.

    How is that even possible?
    All thanks to TNA's stupidity.

Maybe wwe and the hardys are confident on the hardys winning the suit.

And this is why Jeff Jarrett should never run a promotion because he will find ways to fuck things up for everyone including your hottest talent. Drew McIntyre is back in the WWE via NXT and the Hardys are back. This is a major slap in the face for Impact.

BTW, why does the Man w/ 3Hs always have stupid entrances? Seriously, does he really think he's that great?

Oh, and I hope the Smackdown Women's match isn't cut out of the program.

It shouldn't be cut. It's network exclusive, right? Nothing should be cut. Show will just run longer.

And Lesnar wins. Match went exactly how it should've. Didn't expect Goldberg to get that kind of reaction though. Weird.

Oh no... that means this will be Taker's last match and he's gonna pass the torch to someone who doesn't have it to be THE GUY.

This cringe worthy. Let's hope Taker wins and leaves on top.

And Reigns wins but to no one's delight. He just beat an old man. What the fuck does that even prove?

That was a hell of a send-off for Taker. Maybe not the match, which I thought was okay, but the exit was great.

Decent Mania. Styles and Shane was probably match of the night, surprisingly. Also Hardys return was fucking awesome. Reigns fucking up the tombstone like that was so hard to watch. Just a truly terrible match. I feel sad for Taker that he goes out on that match.

A lot better than last year's Mania though.

Definitely better than last year. I thought the main event was kinda depressing. Bummer that it had to be Reigns. But, I don't think people are going to remember that match for Reigns. Very cool and fitting send off for Taker. Bummer that we won't see him again. But, it was long overdue for him.

Production-wise, this might be the best mania. Everything was top notch. Some faulty camera work. But everything else was on point.

Way better than last year, and just as good as 30 in some respects. But way too long. It managed to be longer than last year's show, which was a real slog to get through.

Styles/McMahon and the ladder match were the definite highlights for me.

It was long. But, it didn't feel like being dragged slowly into the depths of hell like last year. Last year, I was tapped out about halfway. That didn't happen this time around.
