The Trip. I enjoyed it. Especially their Woody Allen impressions.

I may have already said it, but Sons of Anarchy.
That, Dexter, Lost and Buffy are my favorites.
Angel is pretty damn good too.

Just got into Lillyhammer a couple of weeks back. Always loved Sil on The Sopranos, so I figured, eh, I'll give it a chance. BLOWN AWAY! I would highly recommend, even if you're not into the whole mob/gangster kinda thing, or at the same time, if you're really into that and worried that it's not hardcore enough, this should deliver on both sides.

I am very pleased that it's more comedic than Sopranos. Plus I have this love of Scandinavia that makes it just a thrill to watch. Aaaand it could be the transplant Californian in me that looks at the snow and says, 'oh wow, I miss that.'

I've recently got Netflix (I use US DNS on my tv) and some evenings I would like to watch a movie but find myself scrolling through this vast wilderness of options. I would love if I could get some recommendations. I like just about any genre, but I like to be challenged more then snacking popcorn. Thanks in advance!

I don't think it's been mentioned on here, but The X Files has all 9 seasons on Netflix.

I've been re-watching it and listening to The X Files Files - which is some good podcast listening
[not Netflix related I know, but a great companion to your X Files viewing]. Check it out.

I thought it was fucking great.
@profane , the 5 best tv shows, in my opinion, are Lost, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, Orange is the New Black, and Lillyhammer. Ok, 6...American Horror Stories.

Netflix doesn't have all the hot new movies due to licensing issues, but there are some AMAZING independent gems, documentaries, older films, and they do get SOME of the hot-ticket movies.

I finished the second season of Peaky Blinders. Yes, Tom Hardy really shredded the scenery, Cillian Murphy was awesome, I loved historical context. Episode 5 really failed. The story gotten driven so fast for plot purposes it was not very believable. Final episode - holy crap - redemption.

Complication was for sure one of my fav parts of the flic.

And they also played one of the few Radiohead songs I know by name and like: 'jigsaws falling into place'

^^^^ Oh, thanks for the heads-up. It still blows my mind that that man's brother was a very powerful state politician for many years who never gave Whitey up (from what we know).

    And those accents.
