Very underwhelming to my ears. The 6 track blows this away by leaps and bounds. a few interesting sounds here and there but otherwise I find it lackluster.

I like it. Way better than the HDTA EP...I hope for more stuff like that in 2012.

It is awesome to hear Trent scream out those backing vocals.

This is fucking awesome. A sign of things to come I do hope.

And I listened to this before the OST. #fanboy

It's amazing, I wasn't expecting it to be THAT good. It's just awesome. I'm glad Trent isn't hiding anymore and he's really packing a scream on this diamond.

I had to skip ahead to it. Holy shitballs, Batman. This is so much better than the EP. The vocals are fantastic!

Loved this track, I went ahead and listened before starting the soundtrack from scratch. Got goosebumps around the midway mark!

Apart from a few noises in the second half (because they were noises "from the vault" that made me cringe a bit), I quite liked that. Much more so than the stuff on the EP, and I can see how it'd fit into that sort of film.

Wow, this is fantastic! I thought the EP was pretty good (not my favorite, but yeah, pretty good)... But this, this I really like.

Surprised the song's so vocal-centric, given that Mariqueen's more part of the soundscape in the EP, but aside from that I just didn't feel it. It's suitably chilly for the project, but I'd never listen to it outside the context of the film or the full OST. Too much ambience, too little melody.

Sorry, but Mariqueen's voice is so plain and unremarkable. She really needs to take some chances, especially standing next to such an emotive singer as Trent. The second half of the song is pretty sweet though.

Loved it. Really hope the new album is more along these lines (not that I didn't love the EP of course, hehe).

love it. love the dichotomy of the quiet start with the synth heavy finish. This has me fully psyched for the LP (not that I wasn't already...)

Cheers! Links from nin.com helped people actually notice it - I think it's almost at its first birthday too.

Ontopic: I wonder if this will be on the LP too?

I'd suspect it'll make it's way on as a bonus track of something. May depend how it fits with the rest of the album.

    I love it!

I think it really showcases Mariqueen's voice where she was a bit too quiet on some of the HTDA tracks.

    I love the lyrics...

I shouldn't have listened to the cover first. Now that I'm giving the score a full listen, I just keep wanting it to be over so I can get to the cover. It's been stuck in my head all night.

Tremendous. Trent's backing vocals sealed the deal for me.

The feels I have for this song. Her voice is so much stronger than anything on the EP. And Trent's backing vocals...it's always nice to hear the angry voice come out.
