Did anyone else notice the introduction to the NiggyT track was cut off on the non-digital version? I haven't listened to the album in a while, but I remember I ended up deleting the digital version but kept the digital NiggyT to keep the spoken word intro that they cut from the CD version for whatever reason.

Just want to say that I loved the Saul/Trent bromance that Meathead created back in the day.

It was amazing. I saw a preview and enjoyed myself immensely. A breath of fresh air on the Great White Way. Too bad more people won't get to see Saul in that role, he killed it. Broadway's a friggin' rough business.

Holy shit that's good. I had lost some interest in Saul after Volcanic Sunlight, but this sounds like a return to form.

Great to hear some new work from him! It feels like a long time since Volcanic Sunlight (which I actually rather enjoyed, but I definitely see why it's considered less than his other work).

i didn't realize how much people dislike volcanic sunlight. "triumph" was probably my favorite song released in 2011.

Volcanic Sunlight was my least favorite album of his thus far, but I still enjoyed the hell out of it. I think the problem is that anything after Niggy Tardust was going to be a bit of a disappointment.

I liked Volcanic Sunlight but I remember reading a review of it that said it had no sense of urgency compared to Saul's other albums, and I totally agreed with that opinion.

With some research I found out MartyrLoserKing will be the character in his concept album "MartyrLoserKing". This article explains everything

Also confirms he will be playing with a live band this tour.

I saw Sauls's show last night and while it was good and Intimate the show lacked overall in many ways. For instance, he played only songs from his new album, not one song from any other album, and while I usually wouldn't care but the album isn't even out yet so it was a bit strange trying to connect to the show. Another thing that was weird was he only played for 45 minutes, and at the end of the last song " he gets arrested and carried off the stage". Literally everyone in the whole crowd thought he was coming out and then bam the house lights came on......it was extremely anticlimactic. One thing I really enjoyed, but everyone else in the back or upstairs must have hated, was soon as the show started he jumped off stage and made a circle in the pit and started to perform right on floor in the middle of the circle. On a positive note, the new album sounds great, the beats are aggressive and creative-think of the album "Saul Williams". The lyrics I can't comment on them because I don't remember but they all flowed nicely and were melodic but were mostly "rhymes " not like how Niggy Tardust was kind of sung, if that makes sense.

The merchandise stand had one mustard yellow shirt with the cover art on it, and a poster of the tour with Saul's face drawled on it. I got both because I wanted to support Saul and I kind of liked it.
