    My fave Banks is Complicity and my fave M Banks is probably Surface Detail. Although "Transition" could count as a favourite for either.

    Gutted, he was a brilliant writer. He will be missed. I've still a few of his left to read, my favorites being Look to Windward and The Crow Road.
