I picked this up but have had a chance to play yet. Lots of mixed reviews... Mostly the same ubisoft bullshit Mantra was describing. Still excited.

I think it's great. It's pretty open, imo. Several different ways to finish a mission. You can sneak in, shoot your way in, or hack through it without ever really getting your feet wet. I've done a couple missions where I did was hack and not even step foot in the place. I'm not very far, so that could change (hopefully). But, the game is exactly what they said it was going to be. Then again, I think LA Notre is one of greatest games, ever. So, take my opinion for what it's worth.

Ubisoft is defining themselves by there inability to polish, at this point.

Still love the game and have the ability to not even bother myself with stuff like that...to be honest, reflections missing and stuff like that just never bothered me.

If you wanna see stuff that bothers me, someone...anyone here...try the digital trip games. Spider Tank and the soul harvesting one are ok.. but try Psychedelic and/or Alone. Seriously, someone try them and come back after like 20 min of playing. Let me know what level of frustration out of 10 you're at haha...

I have decided, based on my friend's recommendation and the boredom I have with it, I am trading Titanfall for a hefty price markup to buy this super cheap. Looking forward to it.

Sorry Titanfall, I enjoyed you and all but I find myself not wanting to play you anymore and you're just going to have to accept it. Sad, I wanted this to be my Xbox One multiplayer game....guess it didn't work out.

The other folks on here seem to think so: i dont.

I cant dig it up right now, but there is a video comparison of the e3 debut video and the actual mission in the finished game and the difference is infuriating.

Its like a shitty GTA but you have a hacking device as a novelty. The hacking device is neat, but its not as much of a standout as you would think.

The story is horribly, horribly bland and cliche, the characters are empty. Its a major disappointment and im considering trading it in to see if Wolfenstein is any better.

A lot of the problems remind me of the first Assassins Creed.

Also the controls are a bit wonky and the camera is set in way to close.... L3 to reload... What?

I'll agree about the story. It is pretty bland. But I'd say it's not bad either. Nothing special about it. Aiden is a pretty dull protagonist. But, imo, the other characters make up for that. Only other gripe I have is the driving. A more thought out morality system would've been nice. If you're hacking a guy's bank account, who has cancer, there should be repercussions. Aside from those things, I like it. Far from perfect though.

I wanted an xbox one to play this game. I got a day one xbox one and patiently waited. It's very average. Like some say, assassins creed with a tech skin. I live in Chicago, so I love seeing familiar sights and streets. If it was set elsewhere, I'm not sure I'd care. Hacking is a fun gimmick, but this doesn't grab me like gta v. Graphics are very xbox 360. GOOD game, but I'll play it through for the fun of it.

This game has so much to do. It'll keep me entertained for awhile. it was worth ditching Titanfall for. I'm glad I got it as soon as I did. Was way, way better than what I thought it was and would be.

Finished the game earlier. It was pretty satisfying. I'll probably start the side stuff soon.

Lol I have played like nearly 20 hours since the game came out and I am barely a few missions into ACT II been doing a mix of main and side missions. Will probably continue that way til the end.

I like the game overall. Is it visually great? No but it's not bad. Aiden is sorta generic but I agree with you Piko some of the other characters at least add some life to the game. Also the driving fucking sucks.

Wish all the costumes in the shop didn't make you look the same but in a different color, c'mon Ubisoft.

Overall though I've had fun playing, def lots to do the map is pretty decent too. Been hacked a few times and finally got some poor sucker. I am interested to see how the rest of the game turns out. Not bad so far.

Whether people like the overall game or not i feel like the misrepresentation is not something people shoule take lightly. Ubisoft BLATANTLY lied to consumers.

Like cup and ball games? and chess?

There are a lot of things to do. A lot of really mediocre things, for sure.

Cup and ball- turn brightness all the way up and pause when you are cued to pick a cup. You'll be able to faintly see the ball.

Pretty much done almost all of the convoys, got all the gang hideouts and hotspots checked in. Some of the convoys are tough as fuuuuuck. One is trying to knock down a swat member, who's being escorted by other crooked swat members lol...what a bitch that was.

Loving team online decryption as well. All that's left for me is like the last 2/3 of the main campaign hahaha.

LOL that article is funny. I only usually read about the first two lines of those things mind you, because I'm in my mid 30's, and was gaming when most of the people who wrote those pieces of shit were still running headfirst in to walls.

Anytime I see someone bash on games these days, it makes me just wanna slap them for being so ridiculously stupid and self-entitled. Think about it objectively for just one second...

    That's a game.

That's a fucking game. I remember playing Rock 'n' Roll racing for the fuckin' SNES.

Fuck me, anyone with half a brain my age can't help but think, as cliched as it sounds, kids today don't know what they've got...and they moan and whine and groan and cry. These people can actually go fuck themselves silly. Actually fuck themselves. I think of things like how my father, who passed in 1999 and was big in to computers, taught me that computing and gaming was only gonna get more awesome and more awesome. Hell, he barely even got to see much of the internet. THE INTERNET. If I said 'Dad, you should see it...you're running through this street and look out on the water, and can see the buildings reflect in the waves.' He'd say 'Holy shit, how is anyone who sees this not losing their minds.' Now, people piss and moan that the waves have 'too many jaggies'. Eat the fattest dick I can think of.

I feel bad...I'm still one of the few that still just enjoy playing games...that's it. I love gaming. Couldn't care less about pissing and moaning. Game's not that good, go get another or play another. End of story. There's a reason that there's still a stigma about gaming (isn't it a thread here?)...it's because the few of us that still can put something like gaming in to at least SOME kind of context (i know that in 2014, that's asking for the moon) are fucking embarrassed by the other 99% that should just shut their mouths and be happy that we live in a time that we can even fucking play multiplayer.

Love this game. I have like 40-50 hours played (PC version on ultra, fuck yeah).
It has super cool stealth gameplay mechanics, I love vehicle handling and general controls are well done. Shitload of fun content, and that multiplayer stuff like tailing and hacking is ingenious. Even something so mundane as racing is plenty of fun thanks to good handling.
The story is nothing amazing, but it is serviceable and there are some nice moments. And Clara is wonderful really.
I am nearing the end (did all the sidestuff and now starting act 4) but this will be easy 9/10 game for me. Well done Ubi!

Just beat the main missions of the game. Decent story some plot holes but not bad. Def picked up from Act 2 on some stuff could have been drawn out a bit more but not bad at all pretty fun. I also finished all the side stuff and only have the drinking games to go to Platinum it but man are those a fucking bitch I could see those taking me some time because I suck at them.

Probably all together put in anywhere from 40-60 hours for sure. The online playing is pretty fun but I don't understand why on free roam online you can't kill other players lol

Would probably give the game overall a 8.5 out of 10. Also can we get more Jordi please.

-Just something I noticed or at least I thought was that the worst looking cut scenes were the ones that involved your sister/nephew.

Well hopefully the drinking games don't take me forever, I've seen online that a lot of people are having issues with those.

That and winning a table at poker are the only 2 things I have left, and I'm sitting at like 99.2% completion. The easiest drinking game is over with, but the second one in the middle of the map in that sports bar type place, i'm up to level 6 where there's the L and R circles, and you have to keep the targets within them....but they're both moving....in random different directions. There's no way it can be done on anything other than dumb luck.

I stopped playing this game for like 3 weeks, just picked up playing it again yesterday. Jumped up over 25% progression wise (now at 48%) and am on the second mission of Act III. I loved the Spoiler: prison mission at the end of Act I. So much fun with that.

Though the game likes to throw difficulty spikes out of nowhere. A Gang Hideout Mission in Pawnee ("Decapitated") I counted how many times I failed and it took 14 attempts. Hard as fuck. Open cemetery with no cover.
