I am utterly spoiled by the amount of Festival broadcasts that have been captured so far, not to mention Radiohead.TV coming back with Coachella's 2nd weekend performance. Now I'm just waiting for the OKNOTOK cassette tape to surface.

I'm trying to manage my expectations since I'm sure a lot of those will only be snippets, but good god -- there are some holy grails there if I ever saw them.

Could someone possibly PM me a copy of the OKNOTOK cassette download in lossless or whatever the highest quality the accompanying download included? Your help would be greatly appreciated. I purchased the 24 bit WAV of the album and fucking LOVE IT! Sadly didn't have funds for the super deluxe. Did the download only include MP3 for the tape?

So in the commotion of ADD VIOLENCE, my set got delivered -- WAV and MP3 downloads are both options given for the cassette when you go to redeem. It will take me a while probably to get all this downloaded, but afterward, some very nice people should keep an eye out for some very nice PMs

Where are you located? I'm still anxiously awaiting mine in Nashville. Freaking media mail. Supposedly getting here on Monday. Hope that's wrong.

No one is getting shipment notifications in the US for this. I had to email WASTE to get my tracking number. Picked up the blue vinyl last Friday and it sounds great.

Update: well, I can't seem to get the WAV file to work, and the same issue with downloading WAV happened when the initial downloads for the main set came out -- I'm happy to settle for MP3s, so sorry to everybody wanting better quality.

Wait, there is a WAV option for the tape download?

I heard folks were having issues downloading the WAVs for the album release. It took some tries to get them to fully download.

Love the cassette- The other versions of their songs sound so intimate- specially motion picture soundtrack- This version was the version they played live during the Kid A tour correct?

I wasn't expecting the tape to be this good but Radiohead was just incredible at during this era, I mean they still are but there was something special going on during that time.

Question for anyone with the Ok Computer special edition. The download that was included of the tape, was there a 24 bit download or just standard 16 bit?

I ask because I found someone with a split up 24/96 copy of the tape and wanted to know if it was legit or not. I found both 16 and 24 bit copies. If the 24 bit download was an actual option, then I'll keep the files I found. Dunno if it's BS or not, wanted to make sure it wasn't some crappy upconvert.

Finally heard "OKNOTOK", liked it a lot...

You can tell some of the ideas they ended up using for the main songs of OK Computer and i loved that "The Bends" vibe from some of the tracks...

That Motion Picture Soundtrack demo might be my favorite Yorke vocal performance ever.

That's why I've been trying to hunt the best quality file from the download that came with it. The download is a pure signal and not lo-fi like the tape. I wanted that baby in the best possible quality. I heard a rip of the tape and you have the noise/artifacts/frequency drawbacks from the format.

Also from what I read, the vinyl was pressed from the hi-res files.

So fucking stoked on this whole performance but particularly love that they've revived this track. First heard it on my 14th birthday when Thom did it solo as an encore on the Kid A mini-tour.

The video for 'Lift' is amazing. Only Radiohead can hold on to a GREAT song for 20 years, and release it today with a fresh video. There are so many references to previous Radiohead videos in 'Lift', try to find them for yourself, and if you can't, this article gives you some hints: https://pitchfork.com/thepitch/insid...-diehard-fans/

The nostalgia factor really worked here

Thom Yorke is reissuing Tomorrow's Modern Boxes on vinyl and CD on December 8th. Shame he didn't include the bonus track "Youwouldn'tlikemewhenI'mangry" that was for sale on his Bandcamp page. Thought it was strange when the album and bonus track were pulled from his Bandcamp. Here's hoping we get a 24 bit digital copy. "Youwouldn'tlikemewhenI'mangry" was available in 24 bit where as the album was 16 bit. I actually quite love this album along with The Eraser. I was a bit disappointed with AMOK, it was a bit too Radiohead-ish. Kinda similar to The King Of The Limbs, which isn't really my favorite Radiohead album. Though I did like AMOK's b-sides, which I wish were more easily available in lossless digital.

In support of the reissue, Yorke will play three solo shows in the US, where he will be backed by Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and audio visual artist Tarik Barri. He’ll play Los Angeles on December 12, Oakland on December 14 and a headline set at Day For Night Festival in Houston on December 17.
