From what I recall, the whole lawsuit thing started because papa wouldn't let them go on a break, he wanted to keep touring and the members wanted to go spend time with their families instead because they would keep touring back to back. So Papa just fired them all and said "there, now you have your time off" that's when they band decided to join together to file the lawsuits against tobias. The law suites were a direct ramification of them not getting their say in the band, that's when it was detirmined that they were getting underpaid for their services and the rest is history.

New tour. Thinking on seeing the Asheville, NC show on May 22nd.
Fourth album to drop soon. Featuring PapaNil + Protege. A friend states there's rumors swirling online of a March 3rd release date, but I don't buy it.
Either way things are happening.

The album is being mixed as we speak, unless they pulled a fast one, a March release is not feasible.
Things always seem the be happening with this band though. Seriously, these guys (or "guy" now maybe) never seem to stop. They toured like hell for Meloria, then released the popestar EP and kept touring, and after was done, they still kept touring. They've been mad touring basically since 2015. I'm not complaining, it's great to have a band stay active like that, I just hope the quality of the new record isn't going to suffer in the quality department with the changing of the members and the what seems to be constant never-ending touring for Tobias.

I thought I read somewhere they were hoping/expecting for an April release. I wouldn't be surprised if it were pushed back to a June or July release, but there was an interview recently that gave several song titles and the interviewer had clearly heard many of them, so it must be pretty close to finished. Also, 3 friends and I got floor tickets to see An Evening with Ghost at the amazing Palace Theatre in St. Paul this morning! I'm very excited for that! Last stop of the tour, so hopefully it ends with a bang!
Speculations on that this could be Papa 4.
Looks like no mask this time around basedon said photo but who knows.

I'm eager to give new music and listen and pronounce my final judgment on whether I'm going to continue paying close attention to this band.
Seen it earlier this week.
Not sure what this new album will bring but I'm ready!

Not a fan of the look this time, not that it really matters in the slightest haha.
Cardinal Copia? Need to see him with face paint.
New t-shirt up for pre-order on the Ghost website has the new "papa" in his new costume. It's a red robe.
Can't say I'm all too crazy about this papa/era/look myself, but as long as the music is good, that's all that matters right....

Also, apparently the Ghost community on reddit was able to decipher the track names and album names from the code in the videos they've been teasing.

2. Faith
3. Life Eternal
4. Dance Macabre
5. Below The Earth

7. Branded Saint
8. Lord of Flies

10. Haunting Cradle
11. De Judicio Solis In Convivio Saturni
12. Promemoria
13. Ashes
He wont be a Papa, it will be just the cardinal I think. Unless the movies prove me wrong.
In the meet and greet you get to meet the cardinal along with papa nil.
I hate feeling like a really lame internet douche, but I do actually wish Tobias would move to guitar and get a singer than can actually pull off the records live without singing along with a bunch of prerecorded vocals.
Just how I feel.

they did a private show for some record label. here’s a snip of cirice. the ghouls masks now have the mouth cut out and we’re singing harmonies
Not very long but I actually really like what I just heard.
Possible album cover.
If you’re a fam of sepultura, then you know where the inspiration is from.

Edit: 1:01pm PST and they just started playing another Stone Sour song... hmm.
Edit 2: Came on around 1:20pm PST. It was interesting. Not as catchy as Square Hammer. It's not bad. Might be a grower.
Edit 3: Annnnnnnd, here's the recording for ya'll.

That main riff is very 80s, I love it
