Not a massive fan of all that shredding stuff, but Vertigo by John 5 has a few good songs on it. "damaged" from songs for sanity is pretty cool as well, if you like 5 era MM and rob zombie, you'll probably like it.

I'm looking forward to the twins of evil show in london, but bloody hell both bands are playing very short sets from the look of things... Like 13 songs each :/ double headline should be longer

I will blatantly get right into it though

Shit. I'm going to the show tonight. Hopefully Manson gets his head out of his ass (doubtful) and puts on a good show or at the least, doesn't fuck up Rob's. Should be interesting either way.

Oh man, I really hope they don't cancel this tour or the whole Euro leg. I was anxious at first and now this... sad thing that I was expecting something like this to happen and now it did. Hopefully they get their shit together. Too bad that sharing this tour 50/50 seems to be working out for everyone except a certain 'dopey clown'. Cut Manson off and get Zombie going all by himself. It's better that way. For everyone involved.

Fingers crossed that they make it here and that everyone gets a good show. It's not that it was a cheap ticket anyway.

Not surprised. I'm a fan of MM and like his music but I'm getting really, really tired of his shit.

Don't you think Rob would continue on his own and maybe find some band spontaniously as support?

I sure hope so, but I bet that Manson will be pissed if he's not a "twin of evil" anymore. :P

Zombie's the genuine article, and Hellbilly Deluxe 2 was every bit as good as the first HD record. He's been saying that the new album is shaping up to be his best one yet, and I wouldn't doubt it.

Manson doesn't deserve to smell Zombie's shit. Fuck that guy.

HD2 is no where near as good as HD, but it is a good album all considering.

I love the ridiculous nature of the album already. Cover and name kind of back up Rob's comment that the album's trying to be balance between what he did with White Zombie and his solo stuff. I like it. Song snippet was kinda cool. I don't think the whole album will sound like that.

I like Zombie, it's fun music.

This single however, I cannot get rid of a mental image of a certain shitty canadian rock band. I dont know what it is.

    I do too.

I don't but I wasn't necessarily blown away by it. The structure was odd to me.

Just curious, what band you hear a similarity to. I know only a few Canadian rock bands, and I know you aren't speaking of Rush because they are obviously the complete polar opposite of shitty.

The verses are fun, but the chorus is kind of lame (thanks for planting that Nickelback thought in my head. I totally hear it now and want to put a gun in my mouth).

Rob's never been William Shakespeare from a lyrical standpoint, so I'm sure the album will be exactly what I expect: fun music about monsters, crazies, fast cars, and loose women. He'll also say "yeeeeeeah" a lot. And I wouldn't want it any other way. Rob's like AC/DC. He's got a fun rock and roll formula and sound that works, so he sticks to the blueprint. I'm excited for the new album. I thought HD2 was a hoot and his best album in over a decade.

Rob Zombie's schtick has gotten stale. Educated Horses was a good departure: something different. This new single is the same old crap, but done worse.
I don't care if bands repeat themselves, at least do it well. This new single lacks everything a Rob Zombie song should have: a good groove, pounding industrial metal riffs, and a catchy chorus. This is the shell of Zombie.

The artwork for this new album is cool.

It has, on a site about new album releases. I like it, it's totally lowbrow and brainless, which is how I like my zombies.
