And here's a full clip of "The Hollow," from Mer De Noms Live, for those interested. http://loudwire.com/a-perfect-circle...song-premiere/

God, they sound great. I can see what some fans are talking about with the "having lost touch" thing. But, I really enjoy some of the nuance Maynard's put into the vocals on songs he sang when he was 10+ years younger (Tool and APC). Plus, Billy and the rest of the band are in top form.

Yeah this is clearly from the 2010 shows cause it's missing Jeff's brilliant addition right before the bridge.

Really? They sound fucking horrible to me. What are those, 64kbps MP3s?

    C'mon, Amazon. They're 30 second clips. A higher bitrate wouldn't kill you.

You can tell it's going to sound fucking great even if it's a shitty low bitrate sample. God November 26th can't come fast enough!!!

Why isn't Diary of a Madman/Lovesong on any of these? Seriously, that was what I was most excited about from this entire box set.

It's on the Emotive night as track 8, not sure why...

OH. Thanks. That's confusing. Also, fuck Amazon for providing a clip of Maynard talking instead of something from the song.

    Re: A Perfect Circle

I've got to say these live releases are a bit confusing. Why is By and Down on the emotive cd when it was never played live until 2011?

And of course they used 3 Libras Remix instead of the original when they should have included both (even though original 3 Libras was not good live in 2010.)

Also I love the live version of Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie.

if it's not a typo, why would Gravity Live be 9 minutes long?

Honestly, I think they should've put one bonus track on each album. I think it would've made more sense to put Diary on Mer De Noms, Ashes to Ashes on eMOTIVe and By and Down on Thirteenth Step, just for the sake of fitting with the albums in terms of tone. And yeah, I'm bummed out about 3 Libras, too. They should've put the remix on Stone and Echo and the original on MDN live.

Yesterday, I listened to Thirteenth Step from start to finish for the first time in...I don't know...five years?

I forgot how good this album is. Holy crap.

    Billy interview with Gibson Magazine

Interesting tidbit that the tracks on 360 are "remastered."

No no, Billy has now started the rumor that the boxset might be rerelease in a smaller version. Now we pirate the digital copy and wait until we can properly buy it without ruining our wallet. Because it would totally defeat the purpose of saving some money if we were to buy the digital version and the other package, if it turns out to be true.

The interview was apparently done before they announced the digital release, so that could very well be what he meant.

Look, if you're gonna pirate something, pirate 360. Since the band is releasing Stone & Echo and the three live albums by themselves, they're getting all the proceeds. If you like any of the music these guys have and are producing (or, really, if you want to show they're still commercially viable) support them.

No I will buy the live set, but only once. I wasn't sure if there was going to be another smaller boxset.

At least when Trent did the Ghosts signing video it was funny. This is unintentionally funny.

    Listening to this one now.
Live tracks are listenable to me, and By And Down is even better in flac.

Great to revisit these songs. Think the version I got is a little distorted to me. All the songs on the release are remastered according to Billy.

The remastering really does breathe a little new life into the songs. There isn't a whole lot of clipping from what I can tell from my compressed version and without putting on my studio headphones. The MDN tracks definitely benefit the most, IMO.

    The live tracks are great.
