Woot! I was so happy i got to see them live over in boston last summer. Even if Maynard did stand in the shadow the whole time, that bastard.

I covered The Noose in LA around Halloween but couldn't share it with you lovely people until now. Enjoy!

I'm trying to get my hands on a couple things. Can someone lead me in the direction of a recording from the Berkeley/Greek Show from this last summer?
Also does someone have a high-quality recording of By and Down?
Any word on an official release?

Still angry about how shitty their NYC show was this summer. That tour seems to me nothing more than a cash-grab.

Saw them in LA and really enjoyed the show. So did my friends who were there - five of them. Was it really that bad for you...?

Yes, it was terrible, maybe it was just a bad show. They seemed out of practice, uninterested, and the sound was awful. By contrast the Puscifer show I saw last week was great.

No it was not just your show. The whole tour was a kick in the nuts to APC fans. Played bad. Sounded bad. No energy. They simply do not care. The last show in St. Paul destroyed opinion that I had of these guys. Saw them 3 times before this tour and it was always great. I agree about Puscifer... Saw them 2 weeks ago and it was soooo much better. At least they keep it entertaining.

Strange, the show I saw in Phoenix was anything but bad. Maybe it was the fact that I'd been wanting to see APC for years or maybe it was all the vodka ($7 a shot?!?), but I loved it. I got to meet the band (sans Bastard James Keenan) so it was a pretty rad experience for me. Even if eMOVITe is my least favorite album, they made it sound great.

Sound was great at the Gibson Amphitheatre, and they played well. Don't know about the energy really. I had nosebleed seats and was mostly paying attention to the music. I also think they did a great job with rearranging the songs.

Does anyone have a copy of the extended version of "The Package"? I've been trying to get a hold of it for a while to no avail.

Hmmm, odd. Their set at Lolla was pretty awesome.

Before the old board went kaput, I mentioned that I had gotten into A Perfect Circle recently and had loved Mer de Noms but had been lukewarm on Thirteenth Step. I finally decided to go back and listen to it, and what do you know? I enjoyed it a lot more this time around. I'm really hopeful that they'll all get together soon and do another album.

Yeah, that one's a grower. I liked it upon first listen. But as time went by, I began enjoying it more and more.

Wasn't there a very good audio recording of "By and Down"?

Not any I can recall. Their reunion was a joke. I expected more than a tour that I couldn't attend a show at, not even one newly released song. Live doesn't count either.

I'd have to agree. It's going in a descending order, the best show of theirs I saw was in 2000, then 2003 with NIN, and then last year in Seattle. Still thought all were well worth seeing though.

No, I don't know why the fuck I typed 'with NIN' in that post. It was just them headlining in Calgary.

It's been a while lol. If I'm correct, it was...August-ish? I just remember since it was about a few weeks after my 22nd birthday and a friend got us tickets. I could be off on the date but I'm sure it was August.
