i was a manager at sam goody when netflix was rolled out in 2003. we were pressured to get credit card captures offering free trials. i thought the concept was insane and totally idiotic and no one in their right mind would want it. why rent a movie through the mail when you could just go to blockbuster (rip), hollywood video (rip), or hastings (rip)?

    hindsight, y'all.

Have you watched the 6-part TV series of Wolf Creek that came out last year? It complements the first two movies extremely well (I'm a HUGE fan; met John Jarratt not too long ago), and gives you a great insight into the character's backstory. The death of his sister; his nasty father...

It takes some of the backstory established in the two novels "Wolf Creek: Origin" and "Wolf Creek: Desolation Game" (both penned by the director Greg McLean) and those themselves are absolute must-reads. The latter novel talks about when Mick went to the Vietnam War and gained his thirst for bloodlust there.

In even better news... a SECOND TV series is coming out later this year! They left the ending of Mick's fate quite ambiguous at the end of episode 6.

This is the stupidest skit based on and old comedy cliche, but I can't stop laughing at it.
