Still have an extra ticket for Saturday's show! And a autographed poster, whenever that ships to me. Hell, I might even give that for free if someone just wants to buy the ticket for like, $60 or something. I paid $100 for the ticket/poster combined through the Jane's Addiciton site, so I think that's fair. Orchestra C, Row E! I just wanna go with somebody I know'll enjoy it.

(I'd ask someone around here, but I haven't even lived here for a week, and none of my roomies are into Jane's or BBD.)

Their show last night was MILES better than the two times I saw them with Nine Inch Nails! They really shine in a theater setting. It felt like everybody in the room was connected and sharing an amazing experience. I always thought Jane's was a band about excellent showmanship, and they really outdid themselves. Even the stage performers they had acting out parts of the show were incredible, especially the man in "Splash A Little Water On It." Something about the live versions of all their songs always seems to put a new angle on them. If you're on the fence about seeing them on this tour, GO. Especially if the last time you saw them was in a bigger venue.

Oh yeah, and I talked to a guy there that bought one of the Sadobabies they used in the show. Autographed by Perry, covered in sharpie writing, decked in cheap jewelry, and I think wearing one of the necklaces on sale at the merch booth - $200. He said "At least it'll be a conversation starter, no matter where I put the thing."

Jane's seems to really thrive in smaller theater/club settings. They feed off the good vibes in the smaller settings. Completely different experiences.

In case anybody here is interested, I have an early-entry floor ticket for the NYE show at HOB in Atlantic City available for face value.

I signed up and looked around earlier today, but there doesn't seem to be a history of people posting tickets for sale. Could be because it's a small community.

Wow, I just realized that was a Jane's song, I thought it was Perry solo or Perry and his wife. God they've reached a new low. And I remember kind of digging that song when they played it live with Duff on bass.

I just revisited Nothing's Shocking and Ritual. Listening over and over again non stop.

Which brings me to this question.

What do you think is Dave Navarro's monthly eye liner budget?

Good album. Shame we didn't get any more. At least we got another JA album after that though. That's something that's missing, a JA album.

Never heard "Satellite Party", i guess the electronic cover for "Whole Lotta Love" and that "Rev" song kept me away, i don't know if the album is like that...

I actually thought Strays was their weakest album. It wasn't bad, just sort of ho-hum. I thought that The Great Escape Artist was much better. But of course, without Eric, it's just not the same.

While Satellite Party isn't a classic, I found it to be quite enjoyable. I'm also a Nuno fan, so it was cool to see them work together.

There's one song on it that reminds me a lot of Porno For Pyros (Insanity Rains).
