Hey @Michael_Vens, I just wanted to say your designs are really awesome, but something had stuck out at me.. you put Creative Commons logos on the designs, I'm just wondering what you mean by that, it could be construed as suggesting the music is CC licensed, but it isn't; It's also not kosher if your source graphics aren't explicitly CC or liberally licensed in the first place too...

...that was put on there just for sample purposes only to show what a physical release could look like. if they were to ever be scans of a real licensed release, all appropriate logos and trademarks would be shown instead of the generic ones you see now (this was also done to avoid anyone out there to try and copy and bootleg these particular releases for profit off of my concept scans posted; in other words i purposely applied the wrong logos to these designs to have it stand out from looking "too real")

...and thanks dude for liking my work. it's very cool you noticed what i purposely did to make these stand out. now! if i ever get asked to produce the real thing....

got my cd copy of this yesterday afternoon; super pleased with how it all turned out, with one gripe: since there's no Halo number, how do i fit it into the lineup on my shelf????? where does it go??!!!!???!!! WHAT DO I DO WITH MY LIFE?????!!!!

no problem. soon as i get home from work i'll put up a few. it came with a postcard sized replica of the album art along with some other label related promotional material, so it was a nice package. typical digipack design, no booklet of course.

I was really impressed; I'm glad they put it together, not to knock your own great designs, MAD. what really makes this feel special is that, being a contributor towards the initial release, it feels like I've indirectly helped it get to this point, so it feels very personal. It's a good feeling. everyone involved should feel good about their part in all of this.

i finally downloaded and listened to the files they sent me (and i'm really happy that they're finally going to be shipping out the colored vinyl tomorrow).

did anyone feel like the gave up remix was slightly slower/pitched down than the version on the original, ETS-curated uncoiled? it sounded REALLY weird to me. unless i'm just remembering wrong and that's how it always sounded.

In fact, that's the actual version of the remix. When @Leviathant was preparing the files for the Uncoiled release, he accidentally adjusted the sample rate wrongly, resulting in the track sounding faster and with a higher pitch. He corrected the issue in the donors-only release of Uncoiled. Recoiled uses the correct version.
