This may as well be my greatest musical accomplishment of all time. I deserve a Grammy for this. Give me all the Grammys.

"I break mirrors with my face in the United States" is probably one of my favorite song titles of all time on top of it being a great song

Man, there's so much new music coming out in June that I REALLY hope Year of the Snitch is released next month.

This track is typically strong. Their ability to take the apparent detritus of modern, digital, life and render it into crisply defined and singular pieces still impresses me.

They perhaps do this even more overtly with their videos than their music. I have trouble imagining what the pre-production talk and planning might have looked like with the videos for 'Flies' or 'Streaker,' not to mention any number of their other videos. Because if you attempt to reverse-engineer what they are conceptually, it almost seems like there's nothing really there. Though they manage to lodge themselves into my head anyway. I am somewhat envious of their ability to conceptualize these things along lines I do not even quite grasp, but can enjoy as a member of their audience.

Looks like it'll be out the same day as Nine Inch Nails if this iTunes link is correct!

I haven't followed anything they've done since around Money Store and the whole NIN tour fiasco but I've liked all of these singles. Black Paint is monstrous. Can anyone point me at what albums between then and now I might like if I dig that sound?

Bottomless Pit is like their sister album to The Money Store. It's abrasive ear candy at it's finest.

If you liked Black Paint a lot, the second section of The Powers That B (their double album) entitled Jenny Death has their more raw, punk aesthetic sound to it. The first half of the Powers That B is very experimental and abstract, but it's a fan favorite.

If you liked that, their little EP / mix called Steroids last year is all over the place in a similiar fashion ... but very enjoyable. I think you're good starting off again with Bottomless Pit though. That record is a beast.

Loving how weird and varied all of the singles are. Still wish we would get another "rock" album similar to Jenny Death.

Another new track! We've got a week left to go ... this is the one featuring the Shrek director.

I love this a lot. This is going to be one of their weirdest albums.

It's possible I might end up loving Snitch even more than Jenny Death.

Can't wait for all the backlash from troo DG fans because it's too catchy and guitar-heavy.

Is Jenny Death your favorite? I like it a lot, but it's so hard for me to pick a favorite album from them ... Death Grips is honestly one of those bands that I have such an admiration for each major release that I can't pinpoint a favorite ... there's something I love and adore about all of them.

Year of the Snitch is gonna be one of their weirdest for sure, it seems to cover a lot of ground and for being such a short album (I think it's about the same length as Bottomless Pit) it's proving to be just as experimental and out there as NOTM was, but in a more "conventional" way.

It's not a record I re-visit a lot for easy listening, but definitely the first one that amazed me from front to end. The music is incredibly catchy, but the mood is just something different - in a discography that really is diverse as hell.

    Looks like someone snitched ...

I've got a busy ass day today with work where I probably won't get done until about 10 p.m. ... so this is exactly what I needed.
