I ask because this is their best selling album and very strange to just disappear like this. Reissue? I hope they finally release this on vinyl. Although knowing this band...highly doubtful.
Not too sure. I believe you can contact them directly via their site and order albums straight from them...not sure if that's still the case. They do have this on their official site:

    Dear BOHREN-Customers - ATTENTION Please:

BOHREN & DER CLUB OF GORE have never run a Bandcamp-Site and BOHREN have never offered their music to be sold via Bandcamp.
Every offer there is illegal, without any knowledge of the band and BOHREN does not profit on these sales.
We try to take legal proceedings against the operator/s of Bandcamp.
Please help us and abstain from buying our releases of these sites.
    Thank you.
Also we want to announce, that we don`t have anything to do with the vinyl-releases of GORE MOTEL and MIDNIGHT RADIO. These two albums are released without prior agreement of the band and we do not profit from the sales.

Back in September, I spent some time at Disneyland, and realized how much I really like the queue music track, Pirate Overture, by George Bruns. There's even a few YouTube videos that loop the queue music for an hour. A lot of why I like it must be the soothing flute. A few weeks ago I picked up a number of albums by Herbie Mann, since he was a jazz flautist. I preferred the stuff where he's in a small combo, as the flute was barely there in some of his quartets and quintets. Tonight I was sampling the works of Yusef Lateef, and found two musicians in the related video column whose material I want to pick up...... jazz harpist Dorothy Ashby, and flautist Frank Wess, who played with Dorothy on three of her albums.....The Jazz Harpist, Hip Harp, and In a Minor Groove. Here's the latter album:

    Here's Hip Harp as well:

Well, heck.... now I've just stumbled upon the music of jazz funk flautist Bobbi Humphrey. I have plenty to listen to now.

Speaking of Angelo Badalamenti, the Bohren fans here have probably heard of The Dale Cooper Quartet & The Dictaphones....... for those who haven't:

I would place The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble into the same class of jazz.

The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation has some good stuff as well.

Watched most of this live last night. Amazing stuff if you have a good tolerance of guitar-driven fusion. John McLaughlin is 75 years old, and while he's not as fast and furious as he was in the 70's he's still burning it up. One last time across America, with Jimmy Herring who in his own way is already a guitar legend.
