Haha! I just got it a different way. Jumped on the fans/vents on the building behind it, ragdolled onto the roof of the container, then walked backwards off the front and used the jetpack to shoot myself inside. I tried for ages with that trampoline and had no luck, got close by hitting those vents accidentally so I gave that a few tries and got it in like 5 mins.

Anyone pick up Age of Empires 2? This brings me back! I want to try out the steam multiplayer added in the new expansion. It was on sale yesterday. Got a bunch of others too. Looks like I know what I'll be playing all year early.

I'm humancentipad3 if anyone wants to play. Let me know who you are if you add, I usually ignore randoms.

Steam really pisses me off sometimes. Bought a copy of Rage at Value Village, so it's used. Only $3, but I didn't realize it was a Steam-authenticated game, so because the code has been activated once before, it's now a paperweight.

Grabbed Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, Max Payne 1 & 2 and Super Meat Boy on the Winter sale. Loved the first Amnesia and never got around to getting AMfP, and while I know a lot of fans complained about it, I'm interested and got it for something under 5 dollars, so I won't be able to be too upset if I'm not all too enthralled by it. SMB's PC controls are absolutely frustrating and are making me wish I had a gamepad for my laptop, because it just seems essential to it. Tried getting MP1 to work, had sound issues, downloaded a patch, ended up having to spent a good 4 hours running scans and removing malware, so I'm just going to jump to 2 (I've played them before, just didn't have Steam copies).

looks like they're starting the influencer ramp-up so make sure your listed form of payment on Steam has the funds available.

This explains why my Steam Deck is ready to order. I was doing a slow burn on the saving up because I was like "yeah that's a good Christmas present" but not now.

I'm thinking about picking up a new OLED Steamdeck with dock and controller and headphones mainly to play one game...

    Any experience here with one?

I have the old LCD model and I absolutely love it. From what I've heard, the OLED one is even better with battery life, display, weight.

What game are you looking to play?

    BattleTech.
When Apple rolled out their new silicon (and the instruction set for it), it broke the game... and since HBS / Paradox aren't going to be investing in the same for my new beast of machine (from last year)... well...

I've put 1400+ hours into the game so far and I can see doing a hell of a lot more. And then I realize that I can play everything else compatible as well... and that's okay too.

Video shows how the game is broken....

According to this it looks OK? Would you be hooking it up to a monitor/keyboard?

Nah, the game doesn't really need it at all... some light keyboard functions but the on-screen keyboard will work for that limited input...

Sweet, let me know if you have other questions. I still need to play Battletech, I grew up on Mechwarrior 2-3 but would appreciate the strategy aspect.

I mean, there's still a MechWarrior franchise also going strong but this game is more like how the tabletop BattleTech game plays. I really appreciate that it isn't real time combat... but... saving often until there's high confidence in tactics is advised.
I have 113 of 128 achievements... most of the rest are multiplayer ones and I hope to get there, I just haven't focused on that part as much.

I like tactical stuff but haven't played this much. MechWarrior 5 was OK but it doesn't have the same highs as the earlier stuff.

Did you ever play the old MechAssault by any chance?
