Josh stated himself that Elton will be on Fairweather Friends, but according to wikipedia, that song will also feature Trent and Mark Langegan. Anyone know if that is accurate? If so that would be incredible!

So apparently we'll hear Trent singing on the album a little.
God this album is gonna be incredibleYou’ll give yourself whiplash turning to the speaker when Trent Reznor’s voice rips through the bass-driven fabric on Kalopsia, but before you can lock in he’s gone. Later, near the end of the magnificently cutting Fairweather Friends, the same happens with Mark Lanegan – and it’s damned delicious.

A few more dates were announced. Turns out they are coming back to the Omaha area after all! Already bought my Kansas City tickets so it looks like I will be seeing them 2 nights in a row!

Just when I wound up to feeling disapointed so far with everything I have heard, keep your eyes peeled and that snippet for Kalopsia came along. Both brilliant and I hope the respective album version can hold up to that!

So Fairweather Friends and Smooth Sailing are fuckin awesome. I'm not sure after two plays through that I can even hear Trent's vocals. ...Like Clockwork is a really beautiful peice. Great album overall.

Trent can be heard clearly in Kalopsia. I can't find him from Fairweather Friends though.
The album sounds good, but it definitely needs more spins to have it growing on me. I miss the fast QOTSA stuff. This is mostly mid-tempo stuff. The full version of I Appear Missing is really great. Other favs are Keep your eyes peeled, I sat by the ocean, Smooth sailing and of course My God Is The Sun.
