I just don't understand it, really. Manson was my biggest musical obsession for a while a few years ago. So you can guess I'm disappointed in his current... 'situation'. I have plenty of bad things to say about him, hence why I rarely post in this thread any more. It's because I don't have too many good things to say. I mean, I'll bitch all night about him to friends who are fans, but I don't understand coming in here just to bitch.

Also for what it's worth, the tickets for the Manson show I'm going to see on Sunday were $42 before TicketWeb fees and taxes. I definitely would not be going if they were anywhere near $80.

Will be interesting to hear your review after going. I've noticed that from youtube videos a lot of his performances seem average but when you're there you don't really notice.

    Marilyn Manson - Born Villain

Just finished the show here in Seattle. Manson wasn't as bad as I was planning on. I enjoyed the show but felt it was pretty short (60min or so)

During the first song Manson shot a huge snot rocket which got caught on his nose and he proceeded to fling it out into the crowd....goss....

Twiggy looked bored the whole night while Fred was really into the set. Who's the new drummer now?

Oh yeah, the opening band sucked...hard.....

Didn't see anyone post this here, so forgive me if it has been already, but I found this linked in the comments of a torrent over on Dime a Dozen.

Did I miss something? Or is the ACS Demo thread gone?

Looks that way. The last post I saw in there said something about Pogo wanting these demos to be taken down (kind of like that picture of Beyonce), so I wonder if that had anything to do with it.

I don't see why as Scott sold them via the cassette on eBay. It's not like he'd get royalties for it anyways as they're not officially released versions nor would they ever be.

You apparently have to be Facebook friends with Pogo to see this:

    "What label printed them?" *sigh*

wow, bummer. also, i thought scott wrote all of wormboy (hence the reason why manson hates the track and hasnt ever played it live) and pogo wrote cryptocid/little black spots.

anyways, looks like the thread is gone. i read it this morning before work, and i remember dura saying that scott got back to him and said that "art of dying" was either deformagraphy or... shit i cant remember the rest, but i know that reflecting god wasnt on that short list. does anybody remember what he said?

I guess i dont see whats the big deal, their demos, and its not like he would stand to make any money off them anyways. Like the Roli Mossiman version of Portrait (the manson family album,) thats an easy one to find online, and it has been for years. Im sure its Pogo playing the keys on that recording and he has never seen any $ from it.

Pogo's obsessed with suing people it seems. What a joke. Obviously doesn't care about the music any more.

Yeah, I noticed that. Why does this deserve legal action? It wasn't sold to market money directly for profit, more or less to recover lost treasures. It was for the fan community and nothing more. These demos haven't been seen or heard for 17 years at least. Let it go, should be proud to showcase and share old work.

I found that funny as well. Ridiculous. I have zero respect for Mr. Bier after all his bullshit from the initial lawsuit, WHICH HE FUCKING WON.

To be honest, I doubt Manson would even give a fucking shit these were ever released.

Can you tell me anything about that Art of Dying song? I'm intrigued. Is it a working title or an unheard Spooky Kids song perhaps? Thanks.
I think it was the original title of Minute Of Decay, Cryptorchid or maybe Deformography.

    Cool man, thanks!

Not to 2md guess someone who was there or anything (pogo just got the name of a song he wrote confused with another...) but...

-Minute of Decay was performed in 1995, as Minute of Decay (no working title)
-Cryptochid had the working title Little Black Spots (or Jugendfeld as Pogo called)
-Deformagraphy came out of P is for Porno, combined with the "rock star, yaaahahaaa" part of the D is for Dirty chorus

-both D is for Dirty and P is for Porno are on that photographed list from Scott. the only tracks that are not on there, that ended up on the record (aside from Panaroma and Suicide Snowman) are Dried Up and Reflecting God.

It could have been a working titile for parts of Apple of Sodom, or even Long Hard Road maybe. Another possibility is that it could be another working title for Piss In the Wound even. If i had to bet though, judging by the title and the themes of the song, its Reflecting God.

    The plot thickens...

Thats the smartest thing ive heard all day.

Its a shame too, Little Black Spots IMO is better than Cryptorchid. With its synth drones, and "down in the park" sounding outro. Come to think of it, the whole song musically sounds inspired by DITP, more than i realized until i heard LBS. Regardless, its a more interesting version of the song, even taking into account The Rez ripping it up on the Mellotron on the album version. Im baffeled as to why Pogo wouldnt want people to hear this, especially considering he played everything on it! Damn you, i met you once and you seemed like a cool guy, but your just in it for the $$$

edit: im not trying to hijack this thread, but there was good conversation in the old thread, and im pissed its gone. also, as of this edit, there was 323 people alone in musical revolution!

"Jugendsfeld" is really shitty German. Also, I don't think he can judge anyone given that he makes a song and dance when quitting Marilyn Manson and then forms a band basically called "MM2" or something.

With nothing to show for it. I don't even know if that is still a project.

Who knows, not much is stated by it. They have two singles on iTunes and it was debuted in 2011. Was nothing remarkable or groundbreaking to me.

maybe not groundbreaking, but it's a nice homage to 90s Ministry. I'm surprised at how much I don't hate it. I'd take this sort of thing over manson's last 4 albums.

Thanks to Michael Nalley, I had to take down the demos from YT just to be safe. (Yeah, that was my video).

Sorry internet, but like everyone said, it can easily be found elsewhere.

I don't think there's anything he could actually do about it. Maybe go after Scott?

I like it... I don't see what the massive problem with Pogo is either? He wants money for songs he's written, that utter bastard

and really wasn't it fair enough for him to sue Manson? Pogo was a partner in the business when they signed the contracts & later when they went to court w/daisy, then suddenly when he sacked him he was treated like a hired musician. It was MM trying to get away with paying his people less than they deserve

    edit -
