Yeah and he looked massive, damn. Shout out for attempting to steal all the attention while Rammstein was accepting an award. Ass.

MM with Rammstein was underwhelming. Not awful, but nothing special. He walked around and sounded a bit out of breath for some of it. Rammstein looked bored.

I thought they looked embarrassed. His vocals were atrocious near the end.

It's not that bad but it isn't mind blowing. I would've rather much seen Manson attempting/covering a Rammstein song as opposed to the randomly placed and performed Beautiful People. That would've made much more since as well as it is Rammstein feat Manson, not Manson feat Rammstein. That's how I seen it as anyways. I would've liked a different twist on it, rather than a note by note carbon copy cover.

It must be weird to have a pissed giant squawk "ramming stone" at you while you're trying to play his song.

Manson probably didn't let him come; he didn't want someone older yet far more attractive with a better voice there upstaging him

sadly, that was actually better than some of his performances in recent years :\

yet more evidence that he really should be sticking to studio work

no way am i forking out £90 to go sonisphere for the day based on performances like this...

    manson? what happened?

Honestly he had quite a run of consistent quality. A lot of bands don't last 12-14 years before starting to turn to shit to most people. Manson had Portrait, SLC, ACSS, MA, HW and, to some, GAOG before he hit this addiction sort of slump.

    All right, my take:

Manson's lost it. Sort of. The strange thing is that he can still hit some fairly distinct Manson-esque notes, but he just seems to spew the words out with whatever tonality happens to escape his throat at the time his mouth opens up. He sounded like he could put on a decent show if he actually tried, but that performance just smacked of "fuck it, whatever, give me a mic and let me make noise". On the plus side, at least I'm not sad that we aren't doing his tour.

I'd rather keep my standards high, though. My top 4 artists have been going for around 20 years and are still on critically-acclaimed top form. And THAT's why they still deserve my appreciation.

Once upon a time I loved Manson SO much, but now it's just...sad.
