along with their new full-length coming out on sacred bones, they're also releasing three EPs through various labels (one of them is deathwish, but you can order all three through their online store...which i did yesterday).

for some reason, when i pre-ordered the special edition of the LP, the only shipping option it gave me was priority for $12 (for a 2xLP? ridiculous). my friend alex checked it out and it gave him standard shipping for $6 or priority for $18. not sure what's up with that but it's annoying as hell. especially because the THREE records i ordered from deathwish were only $7 total to ship.

Weezer's cover of Africa sucks. I can excuse the alt-rock guitars, it's the fucking snare drum that's killing it for me in the verses. DON'T FUCK UP AFRICA.

I am a bit obsessed with OPN's 'Age of', lately. stunning 42 min of disintegrated "Pop".

"Cutting Cable (terms and conditions may apply)" (I added 20minutes more of music and I like that mix a lot more now)

All That Remains by The Left Outsides

Folky/rootsy/retro isn't usually my vibe, but I love these guys. The new album has a lot more upbeat/rocky tracks, but at the core there's always a nice trippy/gothic feel. Sadly I missed them playing live (supporting Robyn Hitchcock) near me last week, but I've compensated by grabbing the new record on replica vinyl sleeve CD-R. https://theleftoutsides.bandcamp.com/music

Today has been a vinyl day as I’m working from home. So Miles Davis - Seven Steps To Heaven; Derek & The Dominos - Layla &Other Assorted Love Songs; Wings - Band On The Run. So far...

"As Hope And Promise Fade" carries additional weight now that Chris is no longer with us. And his vocal release towards the end of "They Call Me A Dog" gets me every time.

The Rare Occasions - "Into the Shallows"

Amazing band. Real catchy and just really well done songwriting.
