I had to pull out some of the older Chumbawamba stuff over the past few days. Also got an old indie band (who are no longer rocking) called the Mystechs on my rotation right now.

glad to hear someone else is familiar with them long before the 'tubthumping' days. some of the most blistering anarcho punk short of crass. 'liberation' is my favorite of the lot.

(french coldwave band. two singles and a cassette. male singer on the first, female on the second).

and

ashrae fax... a band from the early 2000s who sound like a synthier version of the cocteau twins heaven or las vegas.
