    What Are You Listening to?

The Kills. I'm sort of stuck on them at the moment.

I've been spinning The Killers and Sonio a lot lately . I'll probably start listening to Puscifer again when I grab the new album.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - City of Refuge. My favorite band now besides The Cure.

I had to pull out some of the older Chumbawamba stuff over the past few days. Also got an old indie band (who are no longer rocking) called the Mystechs on my rotation right now.

glad to hear someone else is familiar with them long before the 'tubthumping' days. some of the most blistering anarcho punk short of crass. 'liberation' is my favorite of the lot.

    now playing:

(french coldwave band. two singles and a cassette. male singer on the first, female on the second).

    and

ashrae fax... a band from the early 2000s who sound like a synthier version of the cocteau twins heaven or las vegas.

My favorite older album would be Shhh but I also enjoy much of English Rebel Songs 1381-1914.

Today, I have some Andrew WK going.

I've been listening to Mr. Bungle's 'Disco Volante' this week. I've been in a bad mood lately and need a good laugh, and for whatever reason this album makes me laugh. It's very deranged, but musically fascinating at the same time.

I had an immense urge to listen to Jack Off Jill on the way to work this morning. Work, not school.
