Album rips. Stream the whole thing (all 25 minutes of it) here:

Seeing them in May with Touche Amore Culture Abuse. Shows will be loud singalongs all night with incredible crowd/stage action.

Cannot believe it has been eight years, but they're finally back. The new song is so-so Underoath on autopilot, but it is a welcomed comeback, especially with Aaron Gillespie back behind drums. New album to follow April 6th. With them swearing in this song, it has caused a huge uproar on Facebook and Youtube (mind you) with Christians losing their minds over this. Didn't they announce awhile ago they were moving away from their religious ways??

Yes they did. It was obvious a long time ago....like before Aaron even left the band...that they weren't really Christian anymore. Second, the song isn't great, but it's not bad at all. Love the drumming during the verses.

Great unheralded 90's sounding post-hardcore from former members of Count Me Out, Striking Distance and Give Up The Ghost.

Been listening to a lot of goth recently, but been especially fixated on this gothic anarcho-punk band from NYC called PAWNS.

They released their LP The Gallows last year and it's amazing.

the band that i used to be in has an album coming out, and they released a single/new video for it last week.

I DON'T GET IT. am i an idiot? do i have bad taste? why are people so into this? the band sounded NOTHING like this when i was on guitar & drums, and i guess they took their stuff in a very different direction after i left, but i really just don't get it. i don't find it appealing in the slightest. it elicits no emotional reaction from me other than being bored. i know this could come off as me being jealous but i promise it's not that, i really just think it's weird that so many people seem to like it. they're getting coverage from stereogum, the NYT, and various other outlets that are praising it. why?

I agree! I wish the Sphinctour DVD was still available for sale.

That Eric Clapton documentary brought me to this album and man, it's fucking good. It still sounds fresh and this was pre-Cream Clapton who was definitely taking guitar playing to a new level.
