For years, I wondered what happened to Mick Harris. You know, the first drummer for Napalm Death, the genius behind Scorn and Lull and an all-around musician who has collaborated with everyone and their mom. Well... he's back after six years of silence. I'm blasting this now.
I highly recommend this to fans of JK Flesh, Author and Punisher, The Bug, the aggressive side of Aphex Twin and Coil, and, well, Not the Actual Events. Brutal and soothing at the same time, combining dark ambient washes with thumping beats and abrasive, often atonal synths.

Coming in hot. can't wait for the album next month.
Oh Sees - Smote Reverser It’s a pretty kick ass album I must say. They are on a roll lately with this album, The Orc, A Weird Exits.
OK, so this could be maybe the 4th or 5th time I've listened to this album in full, still very different, I don't disk like it, just not sure how much I like it, it has a very dancey feel

Not sure what I make of it to be honest. It's certainly not bad, and musically it sounds very faithful to the original sound, but I think it is missing a bit of bite from Marc Almond; no bitter melancholia as per the old classics. Anyway, recorded for a brand new 'best of' which otherwise nobody really needs.

Willie Nelson's The Red Headed Stranger. That album is dark as hell.

I figured this would be a sort of "odd man out" on a NIN forum (?). A good song to sing in the car though. It reminds me of good friends. <3
