Listened to Bloody Kisses and October Rust a week ago, and today I re-listened to Bloody Kisses and loooved it. Probably going to listen to all of Type-O's discography.

Go for Twitch next if you haven't already. That's about as good a midpoint between Stigmata and With Sympathy that you'll find.

Very obscure band featuring Sean Beavan and Charlie Clouser; Charlie even plays drums here.

I recently fell in love with this album. Perhaps I just didn't give it a proper chance when it came out. It's a shame because it doesn't seem to have gotten the attention and praise it deserves. It's release was kinda quiet. I love The Eraser and was a little let down with the album AMOK from his Atoms For Peace project. I feel Tomorrow's Modern Boxes is more in the style of The Eraser, which is probably why I love it. Also the bonus track from his Bandcamp is great. I like to include it on the end when I listen to the album. It fits perfectly as a closer.

P.S. I wish Thom would do more work with Modeselektor... a whole project would be nice.

I have been jamming The Faint nonstop lately. Specifically the last 2 albums fasciination and doom abuse as well as the bsides from those eras. I didn't really like them at first other than a few songs. Really grown on me. Strange how that works.

Carl Cox's final set from Space Ibiza before it closed down for good. Excellent house, tech-house & techno. Plenty of classics in there too of course.

was SUPER into them in high school. saw them three or four times (once with TV on the Radio...that was incredible). never got into the two albums you mentioned, but i love blank wave arcade, danse macabre, and wet from birth.

Currently on track 5, so far so good.

Edit: Finished listening, I expected more tracks like Automaton (song) from this album, but sadly I can report that it's not. It could be a grower, though.

Honestly really enjoying this album. Probably the best since I, though I like Distortion and Realism.

Oh shit, go back for another listen. Yes the albums you mentioned are fucking classics in my opinion. But give the last 2 another few spins. So much better than i remember. Fasciination is like their year zero soundwise. My son knows every word to the geeks were right at this point. He's 3.

My favorite is wet from birth. Never saw them live unfortunately. Hope they are working on something new. Got into them from a live review I read around the time danse macabre came out saying they sounded like 'a young nine inch nails'. Bought the cd on that whim at the old record store (sam goody?) on jackson in chicago on my way to school and have loved them since.
