Trent may have gotten an inspiration from Resident Evil soundtrack, but I think you picked the wrong track.

That's the shitty DualShock Director's Cut score...

This is real Mansion Basement music...

I have no idea why for only the DualShock version they decided to change the score. That person should be fired. I feel sorry for anyone that played RE for the first time played it with the atrocious DualShock Director's Cut score. The real, original score is 100x's better. Darker and moodier and what made the game so scary. I hear a lot more NIN in the original score.

I think he may have mixed up the DualShock Director's Cut replacement score. Read my post above with the actual original score that is beloved and has some NIN elements.

I was watching an episode of Full House (season 8 - 1994/95) tonight and these teenage dudes asked Stephanie Tanner and her friend Gia if they were "the two girls that jumped on stage at the Nine Inch Nails concert."

Vertical started reprinting Tsutomu Nihei's cyberpunk dungeon crawl manga BLAME! last year. It's a series that owes as much to early id software first person shooters as it does to Giger and Beksinski.

The reprint is in A4 format so despite having read and reread this series in tankobon numerous times, I only spotted the plug on the right for the first time recently.

Keeping my eyes peeled for the Quake logo next.

Spotted Mr. Finck at a Bjork Digital session that went in right before my appointment some weeks ago. Hope he enjoyed it!

Not even two minutes into The Defiant Ones on HBO, we get "The Mark Has Been Made."

The episodes are all up on HBO.com, I hear? I don't have HBO, how often is Trent actually in it? /r/nin mentions a lot in part three?

NIN and TR/AR's music is all over the doc, but Trent is almost exclusively in part three. There's a solid chunk about Interscope signing NIN and then later in the episode a bit about Trent taking Manson under his wing. Awesome documentary throughout, though.

TR/AR's music is in it? I thought AR/CS/LR were scoring, or are they using NIN music too?

There's the score, but there are also tracks from The Social Network, Ghosts, Still, The Fragile, Broken City, and more peppered throughout. Other than NIN music during the part about NIN, I'd say about two TR and/or AR tracks show up per episode. I'll download the episodes and post screenshots of the credits in the Defiant Ones thread.

Also, parts of the Happiness In Slavery video are shown at one point, which is pretty fucking cool.
