Let's see...11 1/2 months of anticipation, speculation, false alarms, and disappointment, and then 1/2 month of excitement colored by incessant hand-wringing and confusion about inter-continental e-commerce, botched downloads, mishandled e-mails, and a renewed civil war fought by audiophiles over format preferences.

    Well, maybe that is amazing.

We still have another soundtrack coming from what Trent mentioned to Zane on top of the two major NIN projects.

Gub by Pigface is getting a 2017 remaster too, if you want the original of Suck and the also brilliant Bushmaster feat. Trent.

This talks Chris Bosh and his love for guitar. His wife turned him onto NIN, and now he listens to NIN. He was my faovrite of the Heat big 3 and it makes me sad he is no longer part of the team.

Didn't he put up the master recordings for Suck and Terrible Lie demo for auction on ebay and then backed out?

No, he sold them and then didn't release the tracks after the winner got the tape. Most likely because the winner asked him to

Not a huge Danny Brown fan, but that mash-up works, part. since we know it was done live off the cuff on the decks, since this is A-Trak we're talking about. He cuts up and plays around with some more rock stuff right after The Becoming...Rage, Deftones, QOTSA & Korn.

    Was this posted anywhere?

    http://blog.kexp.org/davidbowie/

It was a year ago this week that KEXP both celebrated the birth and then shockingly, mourned the death of David Bowie at the age of 69. With the help of both those who knew him best and the man himself, KEXP will dig deep into his influential catalog of music spanning nearly 50-years.
Beginning Sunday, January 8th, on what would have been David Bowie’s 70th birthday, and culminating Tuesday, January 10th on the one-year anniversary of his passing, KEXP DJs John Richards, Cheryl Waters, Stevie Zoom, Larry Rose and Evie Cooke will share rare songs, and we’ll hear from those who knew Bowie best, including producers and friends Brian Eno, Tony Visconti and Nile Rodgers, as well as, Robert Smith of the Cure, Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and even the former Thin White Duke himself. Clips from these interviews will be featured on the KEXP Blog, alongside videos, news, and a list of Bowie-related events around Seattle.
“Last year we celebrated 12 hours of Bowie on his birthday and the release of Blackstar. Little did we know he was near death. Days later when we woke up to the terrible news, we turned around and did 12 more hours of nothing but Bowie,” said KEXP Morning Show host John Richards. “There may not be another artist who has influenced and informed every aspect of the KEXP mission than David Bowie. His music has not only influenced nearly every broadcast day that we’ve been on the air, but clearly, his art has propelled so many of the artists we love. Thank you, David Bowie. We miss you every day.”

I'm glad you posted this, because I am always as close as possible at a show, I often don't get the full effect of visuals like this (where it really only works when you're looking at it straight on).

You made me want that camera so bad. Until I saw the price.

...maybe someday, lol. I don't have that kind of money to spend on a video camera right now. But thank you, that was beautiful!

I've been watching the docu-series OJ: Made In America the last few days. In Part 5, they use 5 Ghosts I as well as 28 Ghosts IV.

If anyone isn't familiar with the site pollstar (http://www.pollstar.com/) it is a site devoted to announcing concerts and tours.
Here is their "most viewed" for today, January 9th, 2017...

Seriously, I need to double check we're still in 2017... We haven't gone back to the year 2000 have we?????

With the current state of affairs, we may very well be there.

Is this confirmation of a tour or is it just the one off festival date mentioned in The Rolling Stone article?

Idk, but it's a confirmation of a show at least.
