I think when Fantano talks about strong NIN songwriting, he actually means 'heavy' or 'aggressive'. He said the two songs that aren't verse-chorus structure are not well-written nor abrasive. Hmm.

Clive Barker has apparently made a NIN inspired comic for Heavy Metal magazine. Issue #287 (has 3 different covers). Info here. Available to order here.

Andrew McMahon who's performing live at Panorama just talked about NIN. He said something along the lines of "Great to be here. Can't believe I'm doing this before fucking Nine Inch Nails! I can't talk about it, or I'll piss my pants." Then went into the next song.

Have you guys seen this? Heavy Metal magazine is having a music special with comicbook tributes to bands and songs.

There is going to be a short comic based on NIN's "The Way Out Is Through" written by Clive Barker, apparently combining it with his short story In The Hills the Cities.

Art by Sean Lynch and Hanna Jerrie.

Apparently this issue is supposed to be out this week.

This morning KEXP Seattle aired The Background Wolrd, they didn't play the whole song, DJ started talking over the fifth or sixth loop and said something like "nop, it's not skipping... Or is it?!!?"

Tomorrow they are airing an Interview with Trent at 8:00 am PTD.

Dang, I wonder how pissed Trent would have been if he'd known this was the self-proclaimed "world's #1 autograph seeker".

I doubt Trent would care really. He's a really nice guy when it comes to this stuff; I'm sure it's because he knows what it feels like to be on the other side. He even politely smiled and had a conversation with TMZ at one time. A real departure from the asshole celebs who punch paparazzi and run away from autograph seekers.

Seemed like a guy who legit likes his work since he handed him a PHM vinyl to sign. You know Trent probably saw that vinyl and was like "Hell yeah."

"Autograph seeker" seems like a weird thing, but I feel like 'guy who likes to collect autographs' is quite a few steps above 'guy who brings 20 generic photos to ask celebrity to sign and immediately lists them on ebay.' One of them is really shitty and scummy and the other is just strange, but not really malicious.

EDIT: nvm I'm dumb. I watched a few more of this guy's videos and he definitely just sells the autographed items, not sure why I assumed he actually just 'collected' them.

For the new series Manhunt: Unabomber on the Discovery Channel, the main title theme was written by Atticus Ross and Nick Chuba. Unfortunately, I can't find a full clip of it. You can hear 5 seconds at http://www.discovery.com/tv-shows/manhunt-unabomber/ on the first video 'A Manifesto Arrives'.

Really? Wow. I never knew what he looked like and I was just about to ask what happened to Moulder and if he'd work with Trent again after HM. Moulder was not a part of the last two EPs, am I right?

He and Atticus mixed NTAE, we don't have full AV credits yet.

Unfortunately, this is a VERY common thing with celebrities. I've witnessed it with wrestlers, I'd say musicians are more famous than wrestlers.
