Couldn't make it halfway through that clip. Woof. Eleven looking at the kids like WTF is this game? Great.

The impressions from the adults? No. Just no.

agreed. they should have gotten actual barb and it would have been much funnier.

the kids, as always, outshone the adults.

Tangerine Dream Tribute To ‘Stranger Things’

"Now it looks like Tangerine Dream has completed the circle, released a track on their Soundcloud page, embedded below, that takes inspiration from the Stranger Things soundtrack" - nice. :-)

It's uncanny how these two look so similar.

While I watched Stranger things I got the urge to go and finish watching House of Lies.

Loved almost everything about this show. Wish the first season had more than an 8 episode order, but man, it really hooks you in from the start. Great acting all around, the nostalgic feels from the 80's are on point, and they did a really great job with leaving a lot of things unanswered. Cannot wait for season 2.

My girl wants to watch season 1 for the fourth time. We've only done multiple viewings like this with The Sopranos and Carnivale.

I've done repeat watchings of a series, but never so close to the release. But in this instance, I watched it alone, then after the fact my s/o decided that they wanted to see it, so I plowed through it a second time. I think it took under a week (total) to watch it through twice.

Me and my girl had to watch that trailer twice.

Now we want to watch season 1 again... her third time, my fourth time.

    Spoiler: ELEVEN FUCK YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I am so goddamn ready for this season. But I'm already feeling the dread of knowing that within two or three nights, I'll already be done with it. Because I know, deep down, that I simply do not have the restraint to parcel it out unless I'm on tour and I just don't have the for a binge.

Exactly. I try to accomplish this every time a series comes back to Netflix, and I fail at every attempt. So pumped for this!

Well I rather them go out on a high note than push it too far and deliver something mediocre. So here's to four hopefully solid seasons.

I wish more shows planned their long-term future like that. Usually, either they're always on the bubble and have to work a season at a time out of fear of cancellation, or they're a cash cow that the network wants to keep airing until it goes stagnant.

I think a huge part of Game of Thrones' narrative quality is that they know where they're going, how long it'll take to get there, and have a network who'll let them get there. If the same will apply to Stranger Things, that's a very good sign, and further indication that Netflix is a cut above most other TV companies.

“Hearts were heard breaking in Netflix headquarters when the Brothers made four seasons sound like an official end, and I was suddenly getting phone calls from our actors’ agents. The truth is we’re definitely going four seasons and there’s very much the possibility of a fifth. Beyond that, it becomes I think very unlikely.”

4-5 is about as long as a show can go, and maintain a good pace of quality IMO. There are more than a few exceptions to this, but more often than not I feel like that's kind of as much as it can take personally.
