Infinity Blade II

Arguably the highest profile (and my personal favorite) iOS game is getting a sequel, and it's coming out tonight at 11 PM eastern! Are you guys as excited for it as I am? The first game singlehandedly convinced me of the value of iOS games, and I don't really think many others have compared to it. This new one has gotten exceptional reviews already.

Yeah, it was a nifty little game.

Sad to see the squel doesn't bring much more depth to the gameplay. but I might check it out.

pretty cool game. more locations, more weapons, more foes compared to part 1. gameplay is the same for the most part. graphics are slightly better with cool lighting effects.

There are a couple of new additions here and there (voice acting, bigger castle and new weapon types are the biggest features, I think), but it still plays pretty much exactly like Infinity Blade II. That's not a bad thing at all - just don't expect anything really new. It's a perfect time filler when you don't have other things to play, or when you're sitting around in public waiting for something, which is exactly what mobile games are for, imo.
