The trailer to the new Carrie remake was finally released. Pretty excited actually- the original Brian De Palma film is one of my all time favorites!

Upside- love Chloe Moretz & Julianne Moore. Downside- they look like they both just strolled out of a Vanity Fair photo shoot.

Yeah, Chloe Moretz is great and I'll watch her in anything, but she doesn't look anywhere NEAR as frumpy as the role demands. And I've had bedrooms smaller than the closet she's locked in, ffs! And lastly, I love Julianne Moore...but the crazy mom should have been Sissy Spacek. That would have been AWESOME.:-/

Sissy Spacek as the crazy mom... oh that would've been a much better film. I'm still not sure about seeing this remake though.

Left side, creepy horrified woman covered in movie blood.

Right side, embarrassed and confused girl (or possibly muppet, with that mouth) covered in tomato sauce. "But I had the pot so firmly in my hands...!"

Which kind of sums up the difference between the two movies, based on the trailer. (Could that CGI be any worse?)
